Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith is one of the TMU Press journals that is published by the responsibility of its Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board in the determined scopes.
Aim and scope
- Expanding the specialized view to the field of Quran and Hadith translation
- Introducing the principles and basics of translation of the Qur'an and other narrative books
- Deepening research in the field of Quran translation
- Creating a platform for identifying and evaluating appropriate styles and methods in the translation of the Holy Quran
- To provide a basis for solving the problems of translations of the Holy Quran
 
Open Access Policy:   This Journal contents and the individual articles are freely available to readers without subscriptions or payments through the journal website or its permanent repositories. 

This open-access journal is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License which permits Share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and Adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) under the Attribution-NonCommercial terms.

 
Peer-Review Policy The peer review process in Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith is double-blinded in which the reviewer’s name is unknown to the author and, vice versa. Submitted articles go through a structural and subject evaluation to align with Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith principles. Matches go through a double-blind peer review by three field experts (non-editorial staff) chosen by the Board based on specialty.The Board makes the final article selection.


Duties of Reviewers:

  • Assist editor in decision-making and potentially help authors improve papers through editorial communication.
  • Decline reviews if unqualified or unable to promptly review.
  • Treat manuscripts as confidential documents and avoid unauthorized sharing.
  • Conduct objective reviews, avoiding personal criticism and providing clear, supported feedback.
  • Identify relevant, uncited published work and report potential plagiarism or overlap with other publications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and ideas, avoiding personal gain or reviewing papers with conflicts of interest

Self-archiving policies for authors
Authors are permitted to post their work online in institutional/disciplinary repositories or on their own websites. Pre-print versions posted online should include a citation and link to the final published version in this Journal as soon as the issue is available; post-print versions (including the final publisher's PDF) should include a citation and link to the journal's website.

Copyright Policy: Under open access license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content, but allow anyone to download, reuse, and reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited properly
Peer-review process
All submitted articles are evaluated at the submission to meet the structural and subject principles of Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith. The matched articles will gone under a double-blinded peer-review process by at least 3 reviewers (expert in the field who are not part of the journal’s editorial staff) who are selected by the Editorial Board members according to their field specialties. The Editorial Board members have the final responsibility to select the articles.
 
Governing body
Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith is under the scientific control of Editorial Board whose members are recognized experts in the subject areas included within the journal’s scope. Some executive roles of the Editorial Board members are delegated to the Editor-in-Chief who is well-known in the journal’s scope.
 
Editorial team
Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith is under the scientific supervision of the Editorial Team whose members are all experts with high number of publications in their field.
 
Author fees/Access
There are No Fees or Charges at all for submission, reviewing and publishing processes in Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith.
Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith follows the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing.

Process for identification of and dealing with allegations of research misconduct
Publisher and editors of Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith are reasonable to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred, including plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication, among others. In doing so, Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith follows COPE’s guidelines in dealing with allegations.

Conflicts of interests
All Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith Editorial Board members and the Editor-in-Chief submitted articles are gone under the same reviewing process as the other authors gone. In the cases that a reviewer suspects undisclosed conflict of interest in a submitted manuscript or a reader suspects undisclosed conflict of interest in a published article (all authors are filling the ICMJE Form for Disclosure of Potential Conflicts of Interest at the submission time) Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith will follow COPE’s guidelines.
 
Revenue sources/Advertising/Direct marketing
Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith is financially supported completely by Tarbiat Modares University, Iran, and has no other sources for earning funds. Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith accepts No advertisements in the site or even as a report article.
 
Publishing schedule/Archiving
Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith is published 4 issues per year. All the content from the beginning to the end will be available for ever on Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith exclusive website. Also Translation Studies of Quran and Hadith is included at EBSCOhost and has the plan to enter to Scopus and Thomson-Reuters databases.

New Approaches in the Sciences of the Qur'an and Hadith publishes only articles that contain new and innovative findings on the subject of the quarterly. The editorial board always welcomes the help of professors, researchers and scholars. Researchers who are interested in publishing their articles are requested to pay attention to the following points:

- The main language of the magazine is Farsi.
- Submitted articles should not be more than 25 pages.

The typesetting of the article should be in Word 2007 or Word 2010, with a distance between single lines and margins of 2 cm from the top, 2.5 from the bottom, 2.5 from the right, and 2 from the left. In the type of articles, it is necessary to observe the semi-spacing.
